I went there a few months ago, looking in to it trying to decide if it would work for me and my brother. The person I talked to, I think someone in management, kinda tried to bully us into it it felt like. All my life I have gotten comments that I was unbelievably thin, and he kept implying that I'm fat and that's why I need to work out. It was really frustrating talking with him, and honestly that's the main reason I haven't gotten a membership. Another big reason is all the fees, specifically tied to commitment.

The experience I had at VASA wasn't like anything you'd expect, it was better!! The sign up process was easy and the staff is always so friendly. They have so much to offer there depending on what you like. The possibilities are endless there on what you can do. And what made my experience the most memorable was my personal trainer Dominick Rogers. He is very knowledgeable about fitness and nutrition. He is very good at building a plan specific to your individual needs. He has the knowledge and care to help you achieve your goals even if you're dealing with physical limitations or health concerns. Not only has Dominick helped me with my fitness goals he's really helped me reshape my life. He helped me with my nutrition so I know what to eat and how much I can indulge without undoing all my work. He also taught me techniques to do on my own in between our sessions. Dominick isn't one of those trainers that make you feel like a number to them. He genuinely makes you feel like he cares about your health and helping you achieve your goals. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer. Thank you Dominick for giving me the knowledge and support to get back to a healthier me.

On the positive side, we got an opportunity to work with one of the trainers -Dominic? He was amazing. I was feeling sick that particular day and he was kind, pushing some but not too hard, correcting my technique, and encouraging me to take breaks if I needed them. I asked him lots of questions in relation to exercise and nutrition and other health factors and he seemed very well informed and confident and I really enjoyed talking with him. I would definitely recommend working with him.

I loved working out at this gym, I have had great experiences here with the staff and facility. I was trained by Dominick for numerous months, and was happy with the training. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and kept me accountable when trying to reach my goals.

I've only been going to this gym for 2 weeks now. I picked it because they have a wide variety of equipment and amenities plus it's more conveniently located and cheaper than my last gym. It has however been a rough transition. My first complaint is that hardly anyone puts things back where they belong. The red metal platforms for box jumps end up all over the gym as well as the free weights and a variety of other small equipment. So I have to wander all over to track things down. I also prefer to use free weights since I think you get a better work out, but the lower weights that I need as a small female are never in the free weight area or they're constantly in use. Ok fine, so I go use the machines/exercise specific wracks instead but I can't ever super set a couple different exercises during my workout because there's so many people that I can't leave anything unattended for a second, especially if I manage to snag one of the coveted squat wracks. The only positives I've observed so far is the price, general cleanliness, and friendly/helpful staff.

This Vasa is by far the best in Salt Lake! They keep everything clean and organized. The best part about this Vasa, though, is the head trainer Dom. He is amazing at everything he does. He truly cares about his clients and really gets on that personal level with you. I've been working with him for about 2 years now, and I have been thankful every minute. If you're thinking about getting a personal trainer, I would definitely consider Dom, you won't regret it!
